For players at a badminton club that uses ePegboard

If your badminton club runs its nights on ePegboard, this section is for you. Most of ePegboard is run by the club organiser: they check people in, the picker suggests games, scores get recorded and the board updates on the desk. As a player you do not have to touch any of that. But you do get your own side of it - your account, your rating and history at every club you play at, and a live view of the night while it is running.

Getting in

Your club will have given you a join code - six characters, letters and numbers, something like XPK M4T. It comes in the group chat, by email, read out at the end of a night, or shown on the board at the club night itself.

Sign up, go to Clubs, choose Enter your club’s code and put it in. You find your own name on the club’s list and tap it, and at most clubs an organiser then approves you - you get an email when they do.

If you would rather not wait for the code, you can also claim your name from the live view of the board during a club night. The recap your club shares afterwards takes you to your Clubs list to enter the code. See Claim your spot for both.

What you get as a player

Your games at a club are recorded against your name whether or not you have an account. The moment you connect with a code - or claim your name on the night - that record becomes yours: an account with your rating, your stats and your latest night, kept for you across every club you play at.

  • One account, every club. Play at more than one club and you get a rating and history at each of them, all under a single sign-in.
  • A rating that means something. You get a rating at each club, and a season rank against the other players there.
  • The night, live. Follow the board from your own phone while you play - and once you are checked in, a personal view with your running total for the night.
  • Recaps to keep and share. A personal recap of your own night, and a recap of the whole club night you can share with the people you played with.

The pages

  • Claim your spot - join your club with its code, or turn your name on the board into your account, and sign back in next time.
  • Your account - your name, photo and password.
  • Email settings - the recap emails you get after a club night, and how to turn them on or off for each club.
  • Your rating and stats - your per-club rating, season rank and stats, and what moves the number.
  • Following the night - join the live board by code, and your in-session running total.
  • Team fixtures - if you play in one of your club’s league teams, saying whether you are free and seeing whether you have been picked.
  • Recaps and your history - your personal recap, the shareable club-night recap, and how your nights build into a history.

You sign in at play.epegboard.com and land on your clubs. Each club holds tonight’s session, your rating and your history there; your Me home carries your account and a run-through of your recent nights across every club.
